What is PantryPilot?

PantryPilot aims to reduce the food wastage caused by inefficient meal planning at home. Other apps have used object detection in pictures to scan inventory, but we accept videos as well, alongside identifying items need to be used soon. Also, we dynamically generate a single recipe (and an image) using GPT-5.6, avoiding a fixed databases of recipes. This reduces indecision and adds flexibility to cooking. If short by 1-2 items, it also shows the nearest stores stocking them, and their prices.
